Difference between data and information

What is the difference between data and information?

Data refers to a collection of organized information, usually the results of experience, observation or experiment, or a set of premises. This may consist of numbers, words, or images, particularly as measurements or observations of a set of variables.

Information is the knowledge of any subject. The concept of information is closely related to notions of constraint, communication, control, data, form, instruction, knowledge, meaning, mental stimulus, pattern, perception, and representation.

In my own words:
Data is organized information. It contains experiences, personal information, numbers, images, etc.
Information is the one that makes data. The experiences, personal details, images. etc. is called information.
